CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITS
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Wills Eye Hospital and the Wills Eye Alumni Society.
Educational Objectives
This three-day conference will increase participants’ knowledge about emerging practices across various ophthalmic subspecialties. Additionally, the conference will review and discuss evidence that supports the treatment of a number of eye diseases. The sessions will include in-depth discussions on diseases in cataract, glaucoma, retina, oculoplastics, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, and oncology.
At the conclusion of this conference, participants will be able to:
- Assess the efficacy and safety of new medical and surgical approaches to eye disease.
- Identify strategies to incorporate these new approaches in the practice.
- Discuss advances in the care of disease amongst various ophthalmic subspecialties.
