Rohini Sigireddi is a current Cornea Fellow at Wills Eye Hospital. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts from Rice University. Rohini continued her education, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha from Baylor College of Medicine where she completed an additional year of translational ophthalmology research through the Medical Student Research Track in the laboratory of Dr. Benjamin J. Frankfort. She graduated from ophthalmology resident at the Cullen Eye Institute at Baylor College of Medicine.
After residency, Rohini completed her first fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at the Duke Eye Center under the supervision of Dr. Sharon F. Freedman. She has completed translational and clinical research in numerous areas of ophthalmology, and has a particular academic interest in anterior segment dysgenesis, microbial keratitis, pediatric cornea, and pediatric glaucoma.
